About the association

The Russian Association for International Cooperation (RAIC) is an international union of public associations and the legal successor of the USFS and USCC

1958

Uniting various friendship societies and Soviet public organizations into the Union of Soviet Friendship Societies (SSOD)

SSDS goals

Synergy of more than 25 thousand scientific, cultural, educational and educational institutions, various enterprises and other Soviet public organizations
Carrying out events dedicated to foreign countries in all union republics
Communication with organizations, public figures and representatives of science and culture from 134 countries

Establishment of the International Union of Public Associations of the Russian Association for International Cooperation (RAMS)

RAIC continues to develop the main activities of the SSOD. Now the work of the association extends to all aspects of life in Russia and partner countries and is aimed at fulfilling the following tasks:

Development of public diplomacy
Coordination of activities with 104 RAMS member organizations
Harmonization of international relations
Promotion of professional and business cooperation and comprehensive exchanges in the field of culture, science, education and sports

Heads of the Association

Parliamentarians, public figures, scientists, cultural figures, cosmonauts and writers take part in the work of the RAIC
