On July 9, 2024, in the building of the Russian Association for International Cooperation in Moscow, a meeting was held between its Chairman of the Presidium Sergei Vyacheslavovich and a delegation from Kuwait headed by Sheikh Naif Al-Muhana Aladwani, Chairman of the Board of the Public Diplomacy Organization "WAGB".
The parties discussed issues of interaction between RAMS and WAGB, agreed to work on the issue of signing a cooperation agreement, WAGB's participation in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of RAMS in 2025, as well as on interaction in the creation of friendship societies in both countries. Other issues on interaction in the humanitarian and business spheres of cooperation between the two countries were also discussed. The meeting was also attended by RAMS Secretary General Vladimir Polozkov and Chairperson of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Svetlana Smirnova
